SUMMARY:Workshop: Zeiss Spring Advanced Imaging Workshop (ISTA)
DESCRIPTION:The Imaging & Optics Facility at ISTA\, is organizing Advanced Imaging Spring Workshop\, in tight collaboration with Carl Zeiss. \nThe aim of the workshop is to familiarize researchers with the following systems and topics: \nThe general purpose is to learn to select the optimal technology to best match to sample and scientific question. Researchers are allowed to bring their own (BioSafety Level 1) samples and explore the different technologies with dedicated support of product experts in small ‘working groups”.  \n\nLightSheet 7\, Lattice LightSheet\, Lattice SIM (ELYRA7/SIM 3)\, Lightfield 4D\, and data analysis using Arivis\nKey differences between the individual systems and technologies\nGuidance on selecting the most suitable system for specific sample types to achieve optimal results\nProposal for a decision-support questionnaire (“Which system should I use?”)\nTips and best practices for sample preparation\nStrategies for efficient and effective data analysis (parallel to the imaging slots)\n\nAll technologies are supported by specialists from Carl Zeiss: \n\n\n\nDebora Olivier: Elyra 7\nGerry Sexton: Lightsheet 7\nChristine Strasser: LSM9 LF4D\nMichael Gue: Lattice Lightsheet 7\nAndrija Nikodijevic: Arivis\n\n\n\nThe schedule allows to rotate over all available technologies learn which technology works\, and which might be less optimal (and why..!) \nProgram: \n\nMonday April 13 – presentations\nTuesday April 14 – group rotations over all 4 technologies: Lighsheet7; Lattice Lighseet7; Lightfiled4D; SIM3 / Elyra7 + image Analysis (Arrivis)\nWednesday April 15 – group rotations over all 4 technologies: Lighsheet7; Lattice Lighseet7; Lightfiled4D; SIM3 / Elyra7 + image Analysis (Arrivis)\nThursday April 16 – group rotations over all 4 technologies: Lighsheet7; Lattice Lighseet7; Lightfiled4D; SIM3 / Elyra7 + image Analysis (Arrivis)\n\nEvery day\, there is the possibility to investigate the acquired data\, suing the Arrivis image analysis software. \n  \nRegistration opening soon
