Austrian Image Analysis Initiative – AI2

As of 2024, the Austrian Imaging & BioOptics community is working towards bringing together all those interested in (bio)image analysis, with the aim to exchange knowledge between members & institutions. This will be achieved by a number of different tools, such as online events, in-person workshops and online repositories.

About the initiative

1. Facilitate collaboration among image analysts working with biological data throughout Austria.

2. Foster the exchange of knowledge within the community.

3. Encourage members to seek advice from peers.

4. Offer support and assistance to fellow analysts.

5. Highlight and share interesting tools and resources within the field.



All participation and work within this society is fully voluntary. As such, no claims for authorship should be made unless specifically discussed.

Collaboration within facilities and different groups, resulting in joint projects, is highly encouraged.
